Practice 01
Data & Systems Architecture
For organizations where data has to be governed, traceable and defensible, not merely available.
Enterprises rarely suffer from a shortage of data. They suffer from ownership nobody agreed on, definitions that differ by department, and integrations built under deadline that nobody has revisited since.
We work at the architecture level: establishing what the data means, who is accountable for it, how systems exchange it, and how access is granted and proven. The deliverable is a system that holds up under audit and under load.
Data Governance
Ownership and stewardship models, business glossaries and data dictionaries, lineage and cataloging, quality rules and monitoring, classification and retention policy. Catalog implementation and rollout, including Collibra.
Identity & Access
Identity, credential and access management architecture. Microsoft Entra ID design and integration, role and entitlement modeling, federation and single sign-on, least-privilege access patterns, and ICAM alignment for regulated environments.
System & API Integration
Integration architecture between enterprise platforms: REST and event-driven interfaces, authentication and authorization flows, contract design, error and reconciliation handling, and the operational monitoring that keeps an integration trustworthy.
Data Platform & Analytics
Lakehouse and warehouse architecture on Databricks, pipeline and transformation design, semantic modeling, and reporting delivery in Power BI and Qlik. Built so the numbers reconcile and the lineage is visible.
Solution Architecture
Current-state assessment, target-state architecture, and the migration path between them. Technology evaluation, integration strategy, and the written documentation an internal team can execute against after we hand over.
Recent engagements have run through Microsoft Entra ID, Collibra, Databricks, Qlik, Power BI and ICAM, on Azure, and across REST and event-driven interfaces, plus the in-house and legacy systems that rarely appear on anyone's architecture diagram. Treat that as illustrative rather than exhaustive: if your stack looks nothing like it, the underlying work is unchanged.
Practice 02
Product Engineering
Concept to manufacturable hardware, with the electronics and the enclosure designed against one another rather than in sequence.
Hardware fails at the seams: where firmware meets circuit, where the board meets the housing, where a design that worked on the bench meets a tolerance stack in production.
We take products through those seams. Electronics and mechanical design are developed together, validated on real prototypes, and documented so a manufacturer can build them without a second conversation.
Client product work is confidential. We are happy to discuss method, process and constraints in detail under NDA.
Embedded Systems
Microcontroller platform selection and firmware development, including ESP32-class devices. Sensor and peripheral interfacing, wireless connectivity, power management for battery-operated products, and device-to-cloud data paths.
Mechanical Design
Product and part design in SolidWorks. Plastic part design (wall thickness, draft, ribbing, living hinges, snap fits) alongside sheet metal and machined components, assemblies, and full technical drawing packages.
Design for Manufacture
Material and process selection, tolerance analysis, cost-down review, and tooling-aware geometry. We design for the process the part will actually be made by, and we say so up front when a concept will not mold.
Prototype & Validation
Rapid prototyping, functional test builds, iteration against measured results, and the documentation package (drawings, bill of materials, assembly instructions) required to move into production.

Architecture
A documented target design with the trade-offs made explicit, enough for your team to challenge it before anything is built.
Delivery
Implementation in defined increments, each independently verifiable. Progress is measured by what works, not by hours.
Handover
Documentation and knowledge transfer so the system is maintainable without us. Ongoing support is available, never assumed.
